Volunteer with LinkAge

How do I get involved?

Why VoluntEEr?

"Volunteering for LinkAge is such a rewarding thing to do", Walk Leader Margi.

People volunteer because they want to make a real difference, but volunteering doesn’t just have to be about what you can do for others. Our volunteers get a lot out of the experience too.

What are the benefits of volunteering?

Meet new people: Volunteering with people who are as passionate about a
cause as you are is a great way to meet like-minded people

Improve your health: Getting out and about meeting new people is a great way to improve both your mental and physical health

Rebuild your confidence: If you’re looking to learn new skills and do things you might not normally get to do, volunteering is a great way to do this and build your self-esteem as well!

Boost your CV & get back into work: Volunteering is a great way to get a reference and fill gaps in your work experience, it can also be a good way to try out different types of work.
